I have Motivation!

Ok, so since the last time I have really been kicking it up with the cardio. I have been doing 2 to 3 times per week and I am really feeling better. I have more energy and I have noticed that I feel happier...maybe it's just me, but I don't feel as negative as I have for a long time! I need to keep the cardio up because the motivation I am getting is mostly from the fact that I do really want that healthy and strongness!

The biggest motivation on top of that is the trip I have booked to Liberia, Costa Rica on January 15-22, 2009. So...I have some lovely cute tops and these jean capris that are my goal outfits! I have 7 weeks to make this happen and I know I can do it. The Christmas season is coming but I have been really getting better at Clean Eating and I think the hardest thing will be the alcohol and not the food.

So get on the treadmill girls...because if I can do it, you can do it!!

PS - the fact that I am flirting with a new cute guy helps too!! ;)

A Little Success

Ok Ok, I know it's been a while, but I have been busy..and I have to admit I forgot I started this blog! I have been at this for 18 sessions as of today and have lost about 8 lbs and around 12 inches!! Yay!! It is hard work and I am still having trouble motivating myself, but I think I have an action plan. I am going to pay myself $20 every time I do cardio and I can't buy any new clothes until I hit $150 - that is only 2 and a half weeks of cardio!! I can do this and it will prepare me to save some money for a hopeful trip to Costa Rica in January. Happy Birthday to me!

I am really nervous about how I am going to look after all this weight training and cardio because I don't think I will look like myself...I guess a better me! But I have been the same for so long that it will be a big change. I just don't want to get to 40 in the shape I'm in and if my sister gets married I want to look great too...what if I get asked to be in the wedding party. I want to be healthy and strong and not having trouble with joints and bones as I get older.

So here goes everything! I am signing up for 12 months with my trainer and I am going to be a whole new better me!! It will be a great journey and I know I am up for the ride!
