Session 1

Today was my first day with Claudia, my personal trainer. We took "before" pictures, did some measurements, and then I rode the bike and did some push ups and sit ups to see where my strength level is. Then she made me walk up and down on the "step" for 3 minutes...let me tell you how much I loved that! My calves will be feeling it tomorrow. But all for the best cause, right? A healthier life style!

We talked a little about food and what I could be eating. Today was not a good day food wise...closette raisins, and 2 chocolate chip cookies (arg Suzanne!). I will have to learn to use my willpower to avoid the junk food at work. If you have any ideas let me know, because to start I will be putting a jar of gum on my desk to keep my mouth otherwise occupied!

I will be training with Claudia 2 sessions per week and starting on Sept. 8th I will be going back to Yoga. That is 3 sessions per week, not including the cardio I need to do on my own. So I need to get a minimum of 2 days per week in of cardio...3 if I can swing it! I figure I am just going to have to get back on the treadmill and back into Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives...that is a good after work junkie thing to do without eating and sitting my butt on the couch. Get the TV back in the bedroom. D...I am not buying a flat screen for the bedroom unless I get it with my Visa Points...spending enough money here as it is!!!

Off to a softball tournament this weekend and my next session with Claudia is next Thursday.
